Myanmar Soft Trekking (Day Return Kalaw Trekking)
Option (1) : Kalaw (Peinnepin Trekking)
Pick up at your hotel and transfer by car to the starting point to start your half day trekking to Palaung village “Peinnepin”. It may take about 1 hour walk for one way from Kalaw. Then visit around Kalaw region and hill tribe villages where you will see the residents with colorful traditional costumes. In the afternoon return back to Kalaw.
Option (2) : Kalaw (Taryaw Trekking)
After Breakfast, start trekking to authentic Palaung village “Taryaw” about 2 and half hour from Kalaw
(for one way). On the way you will see the beautiful tealeaf
plantation. Arrival at the village, you will observe Palaung ladies with
colorful traditional costumes who maintain their custom and visit one of the Palaung traditional long house where 6 or 7 families are staying together. Then continue to Ywathit village, another fascinating Palaung village. From there, return back to Kalaw.
